Note: Kolukkumalai's
final stretch is a very rough, 15 km off-road journey, legally mandated to be
done only in local authorized 4x4 jeeps (like a Mahindra Thar/Rox or similar).
Your Rengha Travels luxury vehicle will transport you
comfortably to the designated base camp/transfer point (usually Suryanelli or a nearby location), where you will switch
to the compulsory local 4x4 Jeep for the
final ascent.
